The Isolation
Since the beginning of the year, I have set a plan for myself to write about solitude in my schedule. However, the constant distractions and events have made it difficult to allocate time to continue writing amidst these fast-paced and surrounding words. It is challenging for humans to resist all these temptations, especially with algorithms studying individuals’ personalities to fuel further distraction addiction. In fact, this has been a significant motivation for me to start writing these words. Solitude in this time is something difficult for anyone to sustain, and it requires a person with specific goals and determination, focusing on self and mind, delving into the depths of knowledge and understanding. Here, you find the purpose of this life and your role in it. In solitude, clarity of mind and tranquility of the soul increase, as I mentioned earlier, and you find yourself in a state of humility and concentration like never before. Additionally, solitude has an impact on productivity, even in routine academic work, for example. A study in 1996 found that the most introverted individuals are the ones who achieve the most and excel in their work. This, by the way, is not the introversion we commonly know, but rather temporary introversion, which is an attempt to isolate oneself to accomplish a specific task. What I mean is “relative independence.”
